Ich bin ein Berliner*in
As part of the FRESH A.I.R. (Artists in Residency), launched by Urban Nation Berlin, Stiftung Berliner Leben and YAP Productions, Rita António explores and studies Berlin through the eyes of a foreigner/traveler. She first started exploring places that are not obviously in the focus of the tourist gaze. Later, she found her greatest inspiration in the city's inhabitants. In her illustrations and comics, Rita deals with the habits of Berliners and the clichés that exist about them, always with a humorous eye, resulting in a 28-pages comic book.
